This art tile features Arizona Artist Janel Garza's work translated to ceramic tile by Carly Quinn. Janel Garza’s work has been heavily influenced by the Sonoran desert, a passion for medicinal plant studies, and the clean, orderly shapes found in modernist architecture. In her work, you’ll find an abstract sentiment with a sense of balance, harmony, and interconnectedness. Carly Quinn Designs was founded in 2011 with the idea of bringing life to an age old art form known as Cuerda Seca. Designed, glazed and fired at their studio in Tucson, AZ. They are one of a handful of studios across the globe that creates hand glazed tiles using old world techniques.
