All 24 time zones are available to the wearer at a glance by correlating the hour disc with the cities represented on the dial. Meister translated from German means master or mastery. This relates how Junghans intended the Meister range of watches to be. Their highest level of precision, style, and an unmatched echelon in quality and master craftsmanship. Originally produced between the 1930s and 1960s, the Meister range was reissued in 2011 and updated in a modern style. Attention to detail, design, production quality, and generations of technical expertise have characterized the products of Uhrenfabrik Junghans since the company was founded in Schramberg in the Black Forest region of Germany in 1861.
