Celebrated for his innovations in stained glass, Louis Comfort Tiffany (1848–1933) embodied the artistic spirit of America's Gilded Age. The Louis C. Tiffany Favrile Coasters showcase patterns adapted from four luminous Favorite glass objects in The Met collection, all produced between 1893 and 1906 by the American master and his workshop. These coasters feature the designs of Roundel(1893-96) and different variations of Vase (1900,1906). Each Louis C. Tiffany Favrile coaster is 4" in diameter, made of glass, and is black felted to protect furniture and prevent scuffs.
