The design source for this petite Frank Lloyd Wright Storer House Textile Block Jewelry and Trinket Box draws on Wright's method of construction, unique to his Southern California commissions, known as the Textile Block System, and used in the Storer House (1923). Individual precast concrete blocks were woven together creating an interlocking construction system. The design on this trinket box is an adaptation of one of the decorative textile block designs.
