The Rule/One pen from HMM is a pen/ruler/stylus combination that also fits perfectly into a notebook as a bookmark with its unique droplet shape. Even in these times of smartphones and tablets, the design company HMM, which is an acronym for Human Mechanic Method, believes that a notepad, a good pen, and a solid straight edge will still always be the way for designing, note taking, and analog illustrations. However, the Rule/One fulfills different functions - not only on paper but also on a tablet with its optional stylus, and on the go with its lanyard attachment (lanyard not included). To attach stylus or lanyard attachment, simply remove ruler screw. Built-in magnets hold the pen inside the ruler when not in use. Switch quickly between Imperial and Metric measurements as the scales are printed on either side of the Rule One. With its compact size and milled aluminum build, this finely crafted gadget is light and delightful to carry around. Sleek, modern, and compact, this Red Dot Award 2015 recipient is a beautifully crafted tool and the perfect instrument for your ideas. Milled aluminum body.
