From their second collection, the Paulin C201F Chronograph Watch in Polished Stainless Steel with hand stitched, bridle leather strap from Clayton’s Tannery, England, is an understated and minimalist take on the classic dress watch. The evolution of the second generation chronograph includes a dial font by architect Richard Neutra (Neutraface).
With impeccable attention to detail, these watches have all been designed and assembled in Paulin's Partick workshop in Glasgow, Scotland. After three years of designing and sourcing components from suppliers around the world, the first Paulin watches were assembled at their manufacturing unit in Glasgow. Once a thriving industry in Britain, watchmaking has now all but disappeared from the UK. Elizabeth Paulin co-founded the Glasgow-based company with her sister Charlotte, developing their watches with in-house designer Eleanor Paulin. Paulin’s aim is to bring the manufacture of affordable, high quality watches back to Britain.
Chronograph functions: 24-hour dial, 30 minute and 60 second stopwatch. Diameter: 40mm. Case: Polished Stainless Steel. Movement: Japanese Miyota Quartz. Domed Mineral crystal. ATM/5 meters. Black hand stitched, bridle leather strap from Clayton’s Tannery, England. The new Paulin Watches presentation box is lined with environmentally friendly Portuguese cork and includes an Italian Fedrigoni paper notebook.
