Metal Earth White House by Fascinations

Item# FMMS032

Located at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue NW in Washington, D.C., the White House is the official residence and principal workplace of the President of the United States. It was designed by Irish-born James Hoban and built between 1792 and 1800 of white-painted Aquia sandstone. During the War of 1812 British troops burned it in retaliation for an earlier burning of Canadian government buildings in York, Ontario, by the United States.

These detailed miniature size models start as 4” square flat steel sheets and are transformed into amazing 3D models. Use the easy to follow instructions to pop out the pieces by hand or with wire cutters. Small scissors or tweezers are also good tools to have on hand. Then bend the tabs using needle nose pliers and connect them at the attachment points. Connect them one by one until your masterpiece is revealed. No glue is required! These creations do require fine motor skills and patience but the end result is well worth your time and effort.

The finished miniature structures measures 2.93" x 2.54" x 2.42" (7.5 x 6.5 x 6.2 cm). Each set includes 4” squares of laser etched sheet metal. Recommended Age: 14+.
