The Mackintosh Lady with Rose Crepe de Chine Scarf features a detail from the menu design by Margaret Macdonald Mackintosh for Miss Cranston's exhibition cafe, The White Cockade (1911). The right side of the design featured a stylized female figure holding a red rose. Margaret Macdonald Mackintosh’s design work became one of the defining elements of the "Glasgow Style" during the 1890's. Hand rolled hems. 100% Silk. Dimensions: 59" x 13.75" (150cm x 35cm).
