The Projects Kiura Chronograph by Alessio Romano is a contemporary and classic design that puts emphasis on simplicity and explores the culture and language of Japan. “Ki-Uh-Ra” recalls the Italian word “Chi Ura”, meaning “What time is it?”, a nostalgic reference to the Sicilian dialect of the watch’s designer.
This watch is inspired by Japanese design culture where simplicity and harmony are stressed, principles that have inspired past and present designers alike to re-evaluate the classic chronograph. Kiura has 3 sub-dials; the left sub-dial is a stopwatch measuring time in minutes with the center sub-dial measuring time in seconds and the third sub-dial measuring time in 24 hour increments.
Kiura Chronograph is made of stainless steel and comes with a black IP stainless steel case, matte black face and white hands. Dimensions: 40mm (1.57”) in diameter and has a black leather band. Movement: Japanese Quartz. Water Resistant: 3 ATM.
