The art glass skylight in Wright's Unity Temple (Oak Park IL 1905-08) is featured in this Frank Lloyd Wright Unity Temple Stained Glass panel. The Unity Temple is Frank Lloyd Wright’s only surviving public building from his Prairie period. Late in his life, Wright remarked: “Unity Temple makes an entirely new architecture — and is the first expression of it. That is my contribution to modern architecture.” Wright used exposed, poured in place reinforced concrete. On this glass panel, enamel colors are individually applied to a single sheet of glass which is then kiln fired to permanently fuse the enamels to the glass. The glass is then wood framed with matching stand. Ht: 10.5” (27cm). W: 10” (26 cm).
