Frank Lloyd Wright Ennis Textile Block Architecture Building Brick Set

Item# TAB010105

The Frank Lloyd Wright Ennis Textile Block Architecture Building Brick Set  uses a 3/4 scale mini brick to construct the textile block detail from The Ennis House designed by Wright in 1923 and built by his son Lloyd in 1924. In the early 1920s, Frank Lloyd Wright gave new life to the common concrete block with an innovative building system he called “textile block construction.” Evoking the look of a Mayan Temple, The Ennis House was the last monumental and complex of the four textile block homes Wright designed in the Los Angeles area. Built Product Dimensions: W: 8".  L: 6.25".  Depth: 2.5". 354 pieces. Adam Reed Tucker, LEGO Master Builder, and original creator of the LEGO Architecture series is the founder of The Atom Brick. He believes that this ¾ scale brick (the mini brick) is an ideal size to realize projects with a balance of dimension, design, and detail.
