The Babson Window Earrings were inspired by the portion of decorative details in the Babson house in suburban Illinois, designed by Louis H. Sullivan 1907. The decorative details in the building were designed by Purcell & Elmslie in 1915. Though it is no longer standing, the servants’ quarters, stables and a greenhouse survive.
