A variety of glass types are used, including 52 pieces of rippled and striated glass and 5 all glass cabochons for added detail and dimension. The glass panel is hand crafted using the "copper foil' technique, a method made popular by Louis Comfort Tiffany, that involves wrapping the pieces of glass with copper foil and soldering them together along the length of the seams.
