M&Co 5 O'Clock Watch

Tibor Kalman (1949-1999) founded the legendary, multi-disciplinary design firm M&Co in 1979. In collaboration with his wife Maira, they developed a conceptually progressive firm that initially created graphics for magazines,film titles and books. Following the release of an album cover design for the Talking Heads, M&Co gained major attention for their progressive design and became a major influence for emerging designers. M&Co products challenge the conventions of design and typography. Matte black finish, brilliant white face with one black numeral (after all 5 o'clock may be most important time of day). Constructed in electroplated matte black finish aluminum with a genuine topstitched black leather band and matching black buckle. Each watch is engraved on the back with the motto "Waste Not a Moment." Watch dimension: 1.3" diameter.
