Frank Lloyd Wright Coonley Business Card Case

This elegant mirror finish silverplated card case is engraved with a Frank Lloyd Wright design adapted from the center panel of the window triptych from the Avery Coonley Playhouse, Riverside, Illinois, 1912. Each engraved shape on the card case symbolizes one of the five colors from the original window. Wright's design is believed to have been inspired by a parade with colorful balloons, flags and confetti. The design is one of Wright's most important decorative achievements.
